Femina

Femina is a painting with an imaginary powerful and independent female fighter. Still to this day women need to fight daily battles for their rights to be, look, express themselves as they wish. While we strive for equality in our society the unwritten rules and expectations, not at least by media, are still there.

I used layers of paint and relief techniques to create a 3D depth in the painting and you can also see my weakness for the Cubism.
